Sun Kyeong Bo Won

Explore the profound beauty of the Sun Kyeong Sacred Place and immerse yourself in this exciting new development.

We are embarking on this inspiring development project to create a centre for people to learn how to reconnect and live within the laws of nature and in harmony with the invisible world. It will be a sacred place where people can come to awaken their spirit by respecting the source of life. This magical site, nestled in the Korean mountains, harbours a unique power and beauty that can bring healing and change to all who visit.

The mysterious and harmonious movement of energy at the Sun Kyeong Sacred Place offers the potential to be a world destination for great spiritual change. At a time when humanity is facing increasing environmental and social challenges, we need to realise our true nature and evolve for the benefit of all.

The project is in the early stages as we complete the purchase of the land and finalise the architectural plans before construction begins. We invite you to get involved and be part of this extraordinary project.

Topography and Feng Shui

Situated in the centre of the Korean peninsula, Sun Kyeong Sacred Place is a unique location. Vital energy has been gathering here for millennia because of its two surrounding mountain ranges: Hwa-Ak mountain harnesses the great yang energy and Myeong-Gi mountain holds the great yin energy.

Sun Kyeong Sacred Site is a place to achieve the connection to the Source of our Life

A place to receive light, love and energy to share with the world

The Story

The Sun Kyeong story describes how the mountain Divinities* of Hwa-Ak and Myeong-Gi mountains have protected this sacred place for thousands of years, wrapping it in Heavenly silk, waiting for the right Universal time.

*The Divinities of Nature are the invisible divine beings that support the flow of energy and life in the Universe.

Now is the time for the Sun Kyeong Sacred Place to be accessible to the world. It is primarily a place to respect the source of life, creating then, the perfect environment for healing and connection, helping us all to return to our origin. We invite you to join us in bringing this sacred place to the world.

The People

The Sun Kyeong masters look after the Sacred Place. They live in harmony with nature, respecting the visible and invisible worlds and train intensively to connect to the Source of Life, sharing energy with people across the world. Their daily work involves farming and giving Qi energy treatments, classes, workshops and retreats. The foundation of the practice is respecting Heaven (the Source of Life) through vibrant ceremonies at the Sacred Place and in centres worldwide.

The masters live closely with nature, sharing its wisdom and healing. They cultivate the rich soil, growing food organically and sustainably so that people can live on the site in balance with the environment. Visitors from all over the world enjoy the beautiful nature and healthy natural food.

A typical day always starts with prayer and meditation in preparation for the demanding physical work needed to take care of the sacred place.

The Masters maintain the buildings, treating everything on the land as sacred. They are intensively clearing the land in preparation for the building phase.

People from all the world will be able to visit the Sacred Place to build a strong connection to the Source of Life.

Before working in Sun Kyeong centres the masters undergo intensive training at the Sacred Place to harmonise with the original pure energy and to be able to transmit energy through energy classes, treatments and Ancestor Healing ceremonies to heal family karma.

“This sacred place is where love begins
where love moves, where love stays,
where love spreads its fragrance to the world.”

The spirituality and energies around the site and the Sun Kyeong organization have had a profound impact on me, since personally I am a passionate and faithful believer in meditation and energy levels in the human being, as well as its connection and spiritual dimension with architecture. Fernando (the architect)

In this context, our design revolves around a profound respect for the site, its nature and local and spiritual identity of the project. It is all about making a Centre with the potential to become a world destination; where architecture integrates and frames the beauty of such a special, magical and unique place in the world.

We have also followed principles of traditional Korean architecture such as Baesanimsu, as well as a reinterpreted language of the materiality and shape of traditional and contemporary temples and monastic buildings. Each of the buildings also reinterpret the language of the traditional Hanoks, giving importance to its orientation, rhythm, proportion, traditional tiled roof, its framed windows and its relationship with the landscape, framing it and being able to transform interior spaces into exterior areas, or vice versa. Materiality is also relevant in a landscape that changes with each season. Our proposal is based on warm materials that highlight the beauty of the complex in Summer and Spring, while turning into cozy and intimate spaces in Winter and Autumn.

In this very special valley, the proposal seeks through architecture, that the Spiritual Center becomes an instrument to connect the human being with nature, its energy and its spirit. This principle has become personally a mission of my own, achieving to permeate in architectural design a proposal that uplifts the spirit, celebrates local architecture and beauty of the place, while connects with the most intimate of our being and with the light that the Organization has the mission to bring to this world.
